The 2010 Tempest marks not only the inaugural vintage of Sandhi Pinot Noir but the very first crop of our Domaine de la Côte estate, planted in 2007. While the young vines from which it came can be juxtaposed with established plantings of already-famous sites such as Sanford & Benedict and Mount Carmel and their introductory bottlings of Sandhi Pinot Noir, with 15 years in bottle this wine shows the seriousness of its provenance. Still youthful and vigorous, just as this planting was back then, it delivers savory nuance and lasting pleasure all the same. (11/25/2025)
