This bright yet intense expression of Pinot Noir comes from own-rooted, dry-farmed vines planted on a south-facing slope at high elevations in the center of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. The supple fruit and elegant texture are signatures of the 2017 vintage while the bright, aromatic presentation of the wine and the liveliness on the palate speaks windy conditions and white, chalky marine soils where these grapes grow.
