The Aspen Food & Wine Festival is right around the corner. I’m happy to be sitting on 3 panels that will repeat on Friday and Saturday. At 2 of those panels, I’ll be pouring wines we make here in Lompoc.

“Around the World with Bubbles”

Our esteemed moderator, Momofuku Wine Director and founder of Bellus Wines, Jordan Salcito, has selected our 2012 Sandhi Brut Rosé (2nd Disgorgement) as part of a killer line-up of sparkling wines. I can’t think of a better panel to sit on at 10am!


“New California” &
“What the Heck is Natural Wine?”

I always love drinking and talking with my good friend Patrick Cappiello. We’ll do plenty of both as I’m joining him for 2 afternoon panels. The first, ‘What the Heck is Natural Wine Anyway?’ is a subject near and dear to my heart. The second panel, ‘New California: Wines from the Next Generation’ will feature our 2014 Domaine de la Côte Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (97pts Decanter).


To top it all off, I’m joining my friends Carlton McCoy and Luca Currado for an evening of Vietti and Sandhi at The Little Nell. Unquestionably one of the best places to drink wine in America, I love returning to the Nell every summer. See you there!
