Already so expressive just a year in, perfume whooshes from the glass with honeysuckle, Granny Smith apple, Earl Grey and flint. With time this wine offers even more layers of wildflower honey, brown butter and Fleur de Sel. Nowhere else are the lithe acidity and expansive texture of Sandhi Chardonnay felt so immediately, and pleasurably, as in Romance. What a wine; one of concentration and purity.
